Sales Engineer — Packaging Machinery

This is a technical sales role, not a call-centre one. You will visit manufacturers, look at how they pack today, work out what throughput they actually need, and propose the right machine — sometimes a standard model, sometimes a custom line designed with our engineers.
You will own enquiries from first contact through quotation, negotiation and hand-over to production.
What you'll be doing
- Visit prospective customers and survey their packing lines
- Prepare quotations with the engineering team
- Follow up website, phone and exhibition enquiries
- Maintain customer records and report on the pipeline
- Represent Packten at trade exhibitions
What we're looking for
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, or proven machinery sales experience
- Comfortable talking throughput, film widths and line speeds
- Willing to travel regionally
- Good written and spoken English, Hindi and Gujarati
